Heart Space presents a crafternoon in collaboration with Curandera Club launching our digital toy drive to benefit the children of Puerto Rico. Items from our wish list will go directly towards Taller Salud, a radical feminist collective in Puerto Rico that works with low income communities and communities of color who will collect and distribute the toys to children in the areas they're helping rebuild. Spend a cozy afternoon in The Lemon Collective's newly remodeled space sipping on mulled wine while you create a beautiful wreath to celebrate the holidays. Send proof of purchase of one item or more from this Amazon Wishlist to email@example.com to reserve your space!
Join Curandera Club and local yogi Claudia Arango for a morning of deep healing vibes: yoga, guided meditation, and snacks from Bluebird Bakery in Take Care's beautiful and calming Georgetown location. Suggested donation of $25 will go towards Taller Salud, a radical feminist organization working with low-income communities and communities of color to rebuild in post-Maria Puerto Rico.
RSVP via Eventbrite here. Please note that we have limited space for this event. If you're interested in donating and the event is sold out, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information!

Donations over $500 include a wine class for up to (10) guests at Grand Cata, Latin Wine Shop
The Hurricane Maria Community Relief & Recovery Fund
This fundraising is being organized by Taller Salud, Popular Democracy in Puerto Rico, and Caño Martín Peña in Puerto Rico. Funds will be used to support immediate relief, recovery and equitable rebuilding in Puerto Rico for low-income communities hit hardest by the storm. The fund will support organizations working with these communities.

Their work has been vital to saving human and animal lives...let's continue to support them!
DONATIONS will be taken ONLY online and they start at $25...larger amounts are always welcome. PLEASE DONATE HERE.

Cerdo Asado (Roast Pork)
Arroz con Pollo (Chicken with Rice)
Chicharrón (Fried Pork Rinds)
Arroz con Gandules (Stewed Pigeon Peas)
Fried Tostones with Aji Mojo (Fried Plantains with Garlic Sauce)

Grab your computer and gather around The Lemon Collective’s table for a Mapathon to help disaster relief organizations in Puerto Rico! We’ll spend some time using satellite images to mark where buildings and roads are located so that aid workers on the island are able to determine where they’re needed and how to best distribute their resources. ANYONE can do this work regardless of their tech abilities, so bring your BFF and your computers for an afternoon of chill vibes, a baller playlist, and some new friends to keep you company while you help people in Puerto Rico get the help they need! It’s a *much* better way to spend your time than throwing paper towels at people. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Light refreshments will be provided, but feel free to BYOB and/or some snacks to share. Space is limited so please RSVP at email@example.com.
Join the Department of Beer and Wine this Friday for beer, wine, meats, & cheese tastings and even a special or two to celebrate their grand opening. Proceeds from their charitable tap sales will benefit the people of Puerto Rico through the DCheartsPR initiative.

Join us in the newly redesigned A Creative DC: Brookland space for WOMEN + DENIM: a fundraising shopping party and jeans drive! Local artists and retailers will be selling products ranging from all-natural skincare (Be Clean), to clothing and accessories (Kaleidos and Mallory Shelter Jewelry) to home goods and paper products (Elizabeth Graeber and Painted Palettes). We'll have sparkling wine on hand and plenty of ~GOOD VIBES~ as we support DC women.
